Athletes: If you are 8 years old or older and are eligible, you can participate in the Special Olympics. It is a great way to play the sport you love, learn new skills and make new friends! specialolympicsma.org
Young Athletes: Now, children 2.5 to 7 years old can also participate! It is a great way to introduce them to sports and learn new skills.
Motor Activity Training Program: Designed for athletes who are unable to participate in the Official Special Olympics Sport competitions. This training program helps prepare athletes for sport specific activities that are appropriate for each athlete’s ability.
Shop: Shop for personalized apparel and keepsakes to raise awareness for Special Olympics. A portion of every sale is donated.
Athlete Leadership Program - Athletes can participate in the Athlete Leadership Program which will provide training and support on and off the competition field. Athletes can participate by being a Spokesperson, Committee Member, Coach, Volunteer, and by being on the Board of Directors.
Fundraise: The Special Olympics has many fundraising events throughout the year. Take part in an event by running a 5k like Color Me Rad, paddling in the Lou Marcel Canoe Race, or even by repelling from the 22-story Hyatt Regency in Boston. OverTheEdgeBoston.com.
