The British School of Boston moved in 2004 to the Showa Boston campus in the Moss Hill section of Jamaica Plain to accommodate the growing number of students and to expand the breadth of academic offerings. BSB shares a 40 acre campus with Showa Women's University satellite campus whose main campus is in Tokyo, Japan.
The British School of Boston aims to provide a broadly based and tailored British style education for students from Nursery to Year 13. Delivered by youthful, energetic teachers and staff, BSB's curriculum represents the very best of current practice in the United Kingdom with an international perspective appropriate to its American home. The diversity of the student body is not merely respected but cherished and celebrated.
The school is part of the British Schools of America, a division of the WCL Group, a British company which also operates Fieldwork Education and Compass International Schools. The British Schools of America also operates sister schools in Washington, D.C., Houston, Chicago and Charlotte. Hide
